Blizzard’s Overwatch 10th Anniversary Event Will run from May 12 to June 2, 2026, ending at 11am PT. It began with the latest mid-season patch and gives players about three weeks to claim free rewards, including launch hero skins, anniversary loot boxes, and 2D cosmetics. No Battle Pass is required, and all rewards are available to all accounts at no cost.
Free launch hero skins and other Overwatch Anniversary rewards

Blizzard is offering 21 purple-themed launch hero skins for the original Overwatch roster. Skins are available for characters including Bastion, Cassidy, D.Va., Genji, Hanzo, Junkrat, Lucio, Mei, Mercy, Farah, Reaper, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Soldier 76, Symmetra, Torbjorn, Tracer, Widowmaker, Winston, Zarya, and Zenyatta.
To obtain the skins, players must log in during the event and complete quick challenges in the game. Players in China will also get additional Mythic skins that are not available in the global pool.
Items handed over during the anniversary event included:
- 15 anniversary loot boxes,
- 33 2D cosmetics such as emotes and victory poses, five weapon charms including the 10-Year Edition,
- Anniversary-themed player titles and weekly community rewards are earned through global player victories and completing challenges.
How to claim Overwatch 10th Anniversary rewards and play the returning Arcade mode
Players must log in during the event window and play matches to receive login rewards. Weekly challenges offer additional unlocks, which appear in the career profile once unlocked. Community Challenges track global wins, hero selection, and survival time, offering additional bonuses to all participating players after reaching goals.
The event features the return of Anniversary Arcade modes such as Lockout Elimination and Total Mayhem, both of which offer increased XP during the event period. Overwatch’s tenth anniversary celebration will end on June 2, 2026.
